Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2020

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

Topping the list for the Attorney General was Deputy Attorney General Paul Boniferro, who brought home $458,630.96 in 2019.

Following Paul Boniferro was Crown Attorney Natalino Bernardon, with annual earnings of $338,506.37. Assistant Crown Attorney Linda Elliott made $268,641.98, Assistant Deputy Attorney General, Civil Law Division Michel Helie made $262,299.54, and Research Counsel Roman Komar round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $258,045.24 for the Attorney General 2020 Sunshine List.
